Title: | Tatted wool shawl |
---|---|
Date: | Jun 1989 |
Original Size: | about 1 m wide |
Notes: | This is one of the two final projects for my City & Guilds in 1989. I dyed 4-ply botany wool with natural dyes, and used it to tat the shawl, to represent chalk downland wild flowers. The centre section is supposed to be cow parsley, with daisies and mouse ear, floating above the ground in the wind. This is the picture I took soon after the final exhibition - the shawl has unfortunately faded. |
